1. Once I open the door with the key, I notice twin beds (which is wrong) and clothing all over with a laptop open on the desk.

4. I have read that some people say the large hallways are spooky but I think it gives the hotel all it's charm and if you realise this at the time of booking you cannot go wrong with this hotel.

5. When looking at the Hotels I found it very difficult to choose in San Fran, so I went with the Fairmont for the views as it was my wife's birthday that weekend and cannot go wrong with a good view for a special occasion.

7. There is nothing terribly wrong with this hotel, only that it doesn't make you feel special or important, the way that a smaller boutique hotel could do.

10. The general waiting staff just didn't seem interested and we had to ask several times for things as they kept fogetting or bought the wrong tea etc.
