1. With great difficultly we brought all of our bags in through the single door (that needed to be held open -- how is this ADA compliant?) Once we made it to the check-in desk, we were told that we would have a tower room on the 4th floor.

2. The only downside is we had a difficult time regulating the AC in the room it was either too cold or too hot to where we needed to crack a window to cool it down.

3. Being a pre-tech property, it was difficult to conveniently plug in my phone, laptop and iPad, though housekeeping would have no problem plugging in a vacuum, as the receptacles were all inches off the floor, but not near the desk.

4. When looking at the Hotels I found it very difficult to choose in San Fran, so I went with the Fairmont for the views as it was my wife's birthday that weekend and cannot go wrong with a good view for a special occasion.

5. We arrived around 7pm and we were desperate to have some rest after a 10 hours flight and 8 hours difference from London (it was like 1am to us), which proved difficult with all that noise.

6. didn't I just say was having a difficult time on their website?Really did enjoy the Fairmont, will stay again on my next trip to SFO - hopefully they won't be so busy that these few glitches will not occur again.

8. The hotel management mentioned that bedbugs can travel through electrical circuits outlets from room to room so it is difficult to be completely safe and the next traveller can bring the eggs on the luggage or clothing to the hotel.

9. However, as a physician I pointed out to the hotel that the an early or mild infestation is difficult to detect in the early stages and that bugs can go for months without re feeding and they agreed with this.
