At around 7-7:30 pm you get more noise from the staff starting to clean adjoining rooms - very noisey and loud - do they not realise there are guests who might actually be resting?This is a 'historic' hotel - but its not modern - and I would expect to be able to get a decents night sleep in a 5* hotel.

Not only was the man loud and foulmouthed (I lost track of how many times I heard the words 'sh*t' and 'j*s*s chr*st'), but was airing every 'back of the house' issue you could imagine-- I felt so sorry for the staff and others he and his subordinate were addressing, running down, and generally evaluating in public that it was just pitiful.
