1. Also, there was a large convention at the hotel when we were there, but the service was very slow.

2. Finally - I ended up taking 6 flight of stairs from my room on the 4th floor to the terrace level where the meetings were, two levels below the street level because the two elevators they have running were always so slow and packed that the stairs were quicker.

5. Elevators run very slow and there were often long wait times but given the age of the building it was expected but I don't think it took too much away from the experience.

6. The bad: Stained carpet and furniture in my room, dirty in the corners, tired decorating and peeling paint and wallpaper, small bathroom, slow elevators and not enough of them, plus they are dinged and scraped up.

7. In addition service at the bar was slow as there was a large party in so we were almost last to be looked after.

8. The valet (20 minutes to get car), check in (15 minutes with only 2 in front of us) , room service (50 minutes for a 1AM pizza), and breakfast buffet (20 minutes waiting with only 1 party ahead of us) were slow for the price.
