1. so what? If a person is going to leave a hotel because of old decor and worn carpeting, perhaps they should check photos online before booking that hotel.

2. One phone didn't work, one lamp didn't work, another lamp was barely hanging on the wall, the furniture was scuffed and worn, the carpet in one corner was pulled up, there was mildew in the tiny (2 star quality bathroom), the balcony was a rust bucket.
