1. The rooms, yes, they are dated.
"So many pro's it over shadows any con's " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/21/2012 Vote
2. I will try to keep this objective- the rooms are quite dated and need a serious overhaul- I'm sure they almost look the same as they did when the hotel was built.
"Come for the location, not the room " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/20/2012 Vote
3. This hotel is up to date and is very clean.
"Great Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/13/2012 Vote
4. It was very dated (peeling paint, lightbox bathroom lights) and I was horrified by what I saw.
"Third time around was sad and gross... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/12/2012 Vote
5. The lobby, resteraunts and pool area were very nice but the room decor seemed out dated.
"Perfect location, thought the rooms would be better..... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/12/2012 Vote
6. In comparison to the other Disney Hotels that we stayed at, (Yacht Club, Contemporary, Beach Club), it was very dated and not as well maintained as the others.
"Dated, Confusing layout, but loved Camp Dolphin for the kids " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/10/2012 Vote
7. But the rooms look about 10 years past their 'Redecorate By' date, the incredibly mushy (aka 'heavenly') mattress killed my back, and the food available on-site varied from average to awful.
"Great Location for Disney Travelers, Nothing Special for Anyone Else " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/3/2012 Vote
8. Pros:* Excellent location close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios (accessible by frequent boat service) and Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom (by Disney bus)* Generally very friendly and helpful staff* Good pool area though did find ants in the pool, must have been a nest nearby* Some excellent restaurants, enjoyed Kimono's and the Italian restaurant on-site* Very good value - generally seems cheaper than many other 'on-site' Disney propertiesCons:* Rooms are dated and very basic* Bathroom tiny to the point you can't open/close door if you are sitting on the toilet* Not a real Disney experience if that is what you are after, Character breakfast at Garden Grove was literally just two characters the whole timeIf there was an option, I'd give it 3.
"Excellent location, average rooms, well priced " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2012 Vote
9. Such as the carpeting, which is dingy looking, the drapes, which are dated, the bathroom tile, which is in need of replacing, and those awful pieces of art by Graves which are above the beds.
"Great location, old and tired rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/26/2012 Vote
10. The building is nice, but dated and not opulent at all.
"What a gouge " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2012 Vote
