1. The room was dark, smelly, cramped, dishevelled and in need of total refurbishment, the bathroom was tiny, with less than an inch between the door opening and almost striking the toilet pan.

4. I was going to give them an average mark because there is no free wi-fi, the elevators are slow & the bathroom was a bit moldy & smelly because of poor ventilation.

The rooms- our 1st room (437) was dreadful, more like a hobbit hole- no daylight, air con was pathetic, window wouldn't open, smelly and dingy- we did make reception aware on day 2 by using a comment card but nothing was done, by day 4 we could stand it no longer and asked for a new room, the hotel obliged immediately and we relocated to room 1720- same size but had a window that opened, air con and daylight.

7. we had to take the elevator to the 9th floor, then walk down a smelly stairwell to the 8th floor, passing a dead cockroach on the floor.

8. The rude man gave us keys to room, it was a very smelly room (as if someone had just died in there ) got the feeling it was there worse room that they would show to put people off.
