1. Our room lacked a clock radio and needed some minor cosmetic repairs.

2. The cons were the age of the hotel,as it could use some sprucing up, lack of air conditioning and room stuffiness, and don't expect any amenities such as room refrigerator, and expect to pay to get a wine glass in your room, and the coffee maker is not an automatic.

4. How can they possibly charge for a service they will not guarantee? The room and the facilities (or lack of them) meant that this hotel is only just better than a hostel, therefore I have absolutely no idea where the 4 star rating comes from, so the proprietors are guilty of serious misrepresentation as far as I am concerned, which if in the UK, would lead to prosecution and/or a refund and compensation to the aggrieved party.

5. The fluorescent lighting in the bathroom is simply not sufficient and the lack of lighting can be dangerous, especially while shaving.
