1. The carpets were old, dirty and worn, the paint was peeling and the wallpaper was stained and there were absolutely NO worthwhile facilities unless you were prepared to pay over and above the extortionate fees already paid for what amounts to a tiny, lifeless room.
|
2. There were a bunch of other things such as gum all over the carpet, the dust ruffles on both beds hanging off, wall paper peeling in multiple spots, only 2 bath towels, no coffee maker, a phone that didn't work, etc.

3. My first complaint is minor and forgivable given that it is such a large hotel and therefore hard to maintain - wallpaper peeling off the walls in the bathroom, slightly ripped curtain, other minor aesthetic things.
|
4. There was mould on the walls of the bathroom and the wallpaper was peeling off in many sections of the room.
|
5. Our room was horrendous: awful, decaying, poorly furnished with peeling wall paper, discolored carpet, water stains, orange and brown crumbling grout in the bathroom .

6. , wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, light fixtures starting to rust, something was actually removed from the bathroom wall (a hair dryer maybe?) but the holes and even the anchors were still there.

9. The room itself was small (but average size for Manhattan hotels), and in fairly run-down condition (peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, an aircondition/heat unit with a VERY dirty filter, a saggy mattress).

10. Bathroom was a bit rundown: peeling wall paper, a little mold and weak water pressure.
