4. There were a few seedy types hanging out nearby the hotel entrance as a Parole Office is on the same block, BUT we never felt like the area was unsafe.

5. It's true that there are more pretty streets in New York, however we never had any problems on the street, nor did we ever feel unsafe on it, and we walked on it several times each day and night.

We stayed 5 nights and hotel perfect from start to finish, great location, never felt unsafe, room had everything we needed during our stay kitchenette great when u return from a hard day sightseeing, we even had a dishwasher so no pots to was, continental breakfast was a lovely touch, dont ponder just book.

9. While the hotel is off Times Square and across from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, we never felt unsafe, even walking b One eveny myself one night around 11:00pm to go to a liquor store and buy some wine (now I would not recommend the liquor store.
