1. The Parole office was closed on the weekend and we never felt uncomfortable walking to and from 8th Ave.

3. The shower is small, my husband and I are fairly thin, but I imagine the shower could be a tight and uncomfortable squeeze for someone of significant size.

I have stayed at the W (tiny rooms), the Hudson (horribly loud and uncomfortable beds that are have no box spring, i would have been more comfortable on the floor), the New Yorker (just fine, would stay here again) the Milford Plaza (eh) , the Park Central (mold on the bathroom ceiling) and the a few Hiltons (the best is the one on 6th, best beds ever), as well as the Gem Hotel in Midtown (no amenities), by far this was my favorite place and b/c I travel here for business 5 x a year, I'll definitely come back again and again.

5. Love the idea of it, didn't love the jockeying for an uncomfortable seating arrangement and the elbow-banging for food- others noticed that the primo items disappeared fast and I was sure someone would get an eye poked out over the honeydew melons.

6. Stayed at Staybridge with family, although was two blocks from time square, area was very uncomfortable and not safe feeling.

7. We didn't really have any problem with the area, but I could see that at times you might feel a little uncomfortable around the area of the bus station.

8. There are a couple of 'adult book/video stores' on the same street, but it was not seedy and we never felt uncomfortable walking around, even at 1am on the way back from a movie.

9. The only thing I have to say bad about it is that the block has some sketchy stuff on it, I was with another female and we felt uncomfortable walking on the block after dark, but it wasn't that big of a deal, it was still a really great experience and would recommend it.
