1. When we got there are rooms were not ready but we were early so was no big deal.

2. The elevators were a little slow and small but that is to be expected in NYC hotels, you just plan an extra couple minutes and its no big deal at all.

3. We didn't really use the kitchenette apart from making ice - the fridge made a tapping noise in the night - but no big deal.

4. Breakfast was great, bagels, muffins, fruit, toast, cereals etc, yes it did get a little crowded but we always found a seat, they do takeaway too, so no big deal if you can't.

The only downsides were:It was opposite the bus station (but even that wasn't a big deal)The doors weren't so soundproof so you could hear kids crying a few doors down, but not loud and only occasionallyThe subway is nearby and so you're not more than a few stops from Union Sq or anywhere for good restaurants.

7. we kind of giggled when we got in the elevator (which is red) thinking about those reviews because it is soooo not a big deal.
