1. We reccomend walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, going to the rockefeller centre Top of the rock during the day and Empire state building at night.

5. We live nearby (Long Island) and I work 2 blocks away, so we know the area well and wanted to take advantage of the holiday events int he city (rock Center, ice rink/shops at Bryant Park, saw a concert Friday night, etc).

6. While in NY, I went to MSG for a hockey game, saw the tree at rock Center, went to the Zoo, did some random shopping (FAO, ToysRUs), went for a horse ride.
