Quick Tip for anyone who wants to drive out here - there are 2 ZIPCARS (which anyone who is a member of Zipcar can rent) in the parking garage opposite the hotel - handy for hour rentals to Woodbury Common outlet Mall for shopping :-)Another Tip: Visit 'Top of the rock' - at the rockafeller Center - ok, it's not the Empire State but I think the glass walls and triple platform make for much better pictures than the cramped Empire platforms.

7. Our room was on the twenty-second floor with a view of the GE Building (30 rock) and I would say the room was pretty big based on what I have heard about NYC hotel rooms.

9. My mother had a glass of white wine for about $13 and I had a very, very stiff manhattan on the rocks for $11 - an excellent deal, especially when both liberally-poured drinks came with ample complimentary bar snacks (cheese crisps and olives).
