5. My flight ended up being delayed because of severe fog and when my friend and I finally arrived around 1:30 pm, exhausted from an overnight flight and travel delays, we were told in a very matter-of-fact and cold manner that our room wouldn't be available until 3 pm, the normal check-in time.

7. I called ahead to ask the concierge to order and deliver fresh flowers to the room for my wife and they did a great job - even when our arrival was delayed by a day - the beautiful flowers were in the room upon arrival.
