1. When I informed the staff, they were very apologetic and offered me a free breakfast, but I think this didn't go that far to rectify the underlying problem of this hotel.

2. when asked what intervention was being taken to address this problem the reception did not know hence I asked to speak to the manager who reported that a company come in to the room reported to have mice, yet there was somebody in the room on the 8th floor 1 day later.

10. Having stayed in NY before in different hotels I completely expected the rooms to be small and this wouldn't have been a problem had the rooms been clean, the staff friendly/professional and everything in working order.
