When I complained, I was put into another room (facing towards the front of the hotel - the staff were clearly aware of the fact that the
noise
is unbearable).

I assumed that the
noise
would end at night - in fact it got even worse.

The
noise
from the street is understandable but the draught from the broken window isn't.

Cleaning lady leaves her trolly in the hall between the rooms 24/7 and most disturbing are the bad windows as no
noise
reduction so as a result i have had many near sleeples nights in this hotel.

I think with better management this hotel could be transformed into a little gem as the location is amazing and yes it's a bit noisy week mornings but its New York, you'd expect
noise
like that in any big city and its hardly unbearable.
