1. We did go to Waimea the day after our arrival and went to the supermarket there and picked up a rotisserie chicken and some cheese and salami for our other evening meals to offset the sticker shock at the hotel.

6. From the reception area it was impossible to see the rest of the salon, so I was shocked to see the shabby looks of the salon area-dirty upholstery on chairs, torn spa chair, unprofessionally appearing staff, and a pedicure that cost over 4 times what I pay at home, but not nearly as good.
