4. Lounge chairs, little tables, towels, and umbrellas are complimentary, a nice perk after spending roughly 50 dollars a day for chairs, towels, and umbrellas at the Hilton in Waikiki two years ago.

5. The rocky headlands at each end of the beach are supposed to be good snorkeling, but in the winter the ocean surge is often too rough and the visibility too low.
