1. Two, the beach is small and narrow but better than most on Waikiki and close enough to good beaches so it wasn't a big deal.

6. The only downsides were: Our balcony faced the Cheesecake Factory so you could hear the restaurant's large airconditioning units if the door was open but this wasn't a big deal as we could see the ocean from our room so it made up for it.

8. (but no microwave- to my surprise- but no big deal) We had a nice desk with a place for our laptop and internet access and calls to anywhere in the US are included in the roooms.
