1. Our most memorable visit was in early Decmber 2001, when the hotel rather resembled a morgue, because shell-shocked and air-plane-phobic by the collapse ot the World Trade Center, tourists avoided Hawai'i.

4. My advice would be if you are just looking for a room and get a good rate this hotel is ok, if you are looking for something a bit special and want to avoid the $12 resort fee choose one of the many other hotels in and around this one.

5. We did not even bother to turn on the ancient TV in our room, and had to keep the balcony door open for a couple nights to avoid the extremely noisy and old AC.

10. If it wasn't for the noise factor we would probably stay there again because of the rate (I would just avoid breakfast with the pigeons) I haven't noticed other reviewers complaining about the thin walls so maybe we had unusually bad luck.
