3. It isn't terribly close to common business or tourist centers but that shortfall is mostly addressed by a metro station about a block away.

5. negatives: no Starbucks (they took it out years ago) and the coffee is terrible and a Starbucks not within walking distance, so for breakfast you either overpay for room service, visit an overpriced convenience store on site, or walk down the hill to McDonalds.

6. We've written to management and they even gave us a weekend in an executive suite, but honestly? The service still is terrible and the location is not so amazing that it's worth staying there when you can stay elsewhere and have great service.

7. My wife and I were planning on staying at the Marriott Wardman Park for one night for our 2nd wedding anniversary, and we were never even able to, thanks to Marriott's terrible customer service.
