4. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the smell was stuffy and fake flowers on the dining table made me feel that grandma/grandpa had lost her/his money in the depression (never put fake flowers in hotels, unless you're some dive off route 66).

7. Lots of suits, conventions, people on cell phones -- you get the picture Second ? Our first room smelled weird, had artistic masterpieces on the wall from a previous toddler guest, a toilet that sounded like a jet taking off because the tank cover did not fit properly AND a sticky spot on the floor that was inescapable ( I'm a little more picky than my husband ) I'll get over it .

8. Room is muggy and smells of mold, furniture is outdated and cheap looking, towels are thin and ratty, overall has the feel of a larger motel 6.
