The service is mixed at best and often just bad, the convention room rate might be attractive, but you will overpay for everything (particularly any onsite business services), your food options are not good, and by the end of a five day convention you will be very, very happy that you are leaving (no matter how much you like DC, and, especially, if you like good hotels).

4. The rest of the hotel unfortunately is eerily familiar - it is the same bad Marriott convention hotel experience you have had in so many other cities, with rooms so bland you cannot remember them.

9. Be accused of trying to scam the hotel because they are incompetent and the manager has given us coupons for free parking for our next stay and then something bad happens.
