1. The hotel outright refused to refund the FX difference as 'it's not our problem, it's automatic' despite never having authority to charge the card.

3. We stayed for 3 days total and at the end of the stay we requested we get a refund for our stay and they said they would be happy to do it, we would just have to call in when the manager was on duty.

4. After coming back from our holiday, we noticed that they had charged the card and refunded it AFTER we had left, meaning we incurred a foreign exchange fee for absolutely no reason as we were fully paid up DAYS before they decided to charge us.
