1. After taxes, fees, etc. were added to the price, we paid a bit less than one hundred dollars per night, which was for us an excellent value for a hotel located so close to Times Square.

Pros: great location - it's two blocks from Times Square and close to subways; friendly staff - we got in early and they were very accommodating getting us into a room before check-in; room cleaned daily - room was always cleaned, new towels issued; elevators were quck - you enter the floor you need and it displays which elevator is available so it's pretty quick; security is good - you had to show your room key each time you wanted to get on the elevators so only guests can get in; luggage storage - we had a few hours before we needed to head to the hotel so they have an area to store your luggage for a small fee that was reasonable.

4. For a quick NY trip and the price we paid ($100/night incl taxes and fees) it was fine because the location is unbeatable in the heart of Times Square.

5. My only complaint is the fee for internet usage, but I was barely in my room (except to sleep), so the lack of free wifi didn't bother me much.

6. Also because i wasnt paying with a cred card i had to pay a $100 deposit/security fee which would be refunded but it wasnt mentioned to me at anytime when i booked .

10. Now at this point my best friend asked me what was going on, so of course I told her, this did not sit well with her either, so she literally went down to the front desk, politely requested to speak to the Manager, she showed him our paperwork and made him go online to prove the fee is not disclosed.
