if your landing in newark airport take the Free tram form airport to NJ Transit then take the subway to Penn Station

$12.50 1 way the hotel is 10 blocks walk up 8th avenue or jump a cab at Penn Station save yourself a few quid.

The price was another selling point: Expedia had a special offer on so that it worked out
