One block to the subway, within walking distance to central park and tons of fabulous restaurants and museums, Zabar's, Filene's, etc, etc.The room was great (we stayed in the penthouse loft on the 16th floor), check-in/out was a breeze, there was a very handy business centre with free internet, and the concierge was very helpful too.

I arrived here much later than expected due to flight delay and finally arrived at two in the morning to be greeted by excellent concierge/porter and friendly guy behind the desk( HAbib) we got a complementary upgrade, the room actually has a large area outside with four chairs to sit for some morning sun.
