6. For those traveling with small children, there is a nice grocery store across the street on Broadway where you can purchase snacks, breakfast items and spectacular fresh fruit.

There's also a rooftop patio, enjoy the viewThe hotel is close to- 77th and 79th subway stations- local shops (Laila Rowe is awesome for accessory shopping if your a woman)- a nice diner on Broadway for breakfasts in the morning, very cheep- if you walk down broadway to 79th and turn right, there is an AWESOME irish pub there and they have happy hour for drinks, made our way there a few times- Coppolas Restraurant was by far the best meal I had in NYC.

9. You can get a lovely breakfast at Nice Matin at the corner of Amsterdam and 79th or at the famous Sarabeth's Kitchen on Amsterdam between 80th and 81st.

10. The upper floor balcony's are fantastic, I would imagine these are even better in the summer as there was plenty of space and plenty of tables/chairs etc. No breakfast included but all guests can pick free coffee/hot chocolates from a table in the from lobby which is provided by starbucks.
