3. Word of advice check your bill at check out for any added extras as wew were hit with a bill of $45 which was waived when we told reception.

4. Check-in and out is typically fast and efficient; however, you do need to check the bill to ensure you weren't mistakenly charged for mini bar items you did not consume.

Pros:* Amazing views - I had great views of Central Park from my room* Subway access - you can enter the N or R line straight outside the door* Location in general - a great place to stay with plenty to do & see nearby* Historic charm - it had an old school charm to it which I enjoyed* Good service - easy check-in and check-out, and they mistakenly billed me for minibar items I didn't use, and they quickly removed it off my bill no questions asked* Room size - in this area, rooms are typically very small given the high cost of real-estate.

6. The last this was that I had continental breakfast include and had it to my room everyday, this meant being greeted with a $531 dollar bill.

7. Now for the ALERT - we ordered a bottle of $125 champagne (special occasion), and when the bill came it was $161.

8. There is NO MENTION that you will be charged a service charge and gratuity charge and despite tipping this was not mentioned (or we wouldnt have tipped at the time had we known it was going to be put on the bill).

9. Also on the bill was a mini bar charge which we hadn't used and that soon got taken off with no questions asked, wonder how many times this tricked has been pulled.
