1. The hotel were aware that our stay was for a special occasion and gave us complimentary breakfasts, in room Wi-Fi and two complimentary cocktails each evening in Harry's Bar.

Just got back from a 4 nite stay at the Helmsley,this hotel is in the perfect location for New york,with central park right across the road,and times square a short walk away,the hotel lobby is clean and classy,felt like walking into New york in the 50,s which is not a bad thing,the room we had was dated but i felt it could have been a little cleaner,marks up the wall and stained carpet but don't let this put you off i,m fussy,Go for a drink at harry,s bar a great start to the nite or a nice end to a evening shuts around 12.30-1.

4. 00,the drinks seem a little pricy,but your in New York,the bar staff make you feel very welcome,did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food,but if your looking for a reasonable priced hotel on 5th Avenue i would choose the Helmsley for the price we paid for a 4 nite stay,would i go back,yes it is the hotel that as the perfect location.

7. We arrived at the Helmsley Park Hotel it was beautifully decorated with a large Garden restaurant overlooking Central Park and a smaller bar panelled in wood serving beautiful cocktails.
