1. the bathrooms have a great shower though the water is hard on the skin and towels can be rough to touch.

2. once again booked at the Novotel we were treated to a delightfull suprise!we had been booked in to their show room we experienced a boutique style room with a wet room including a switch reverse glass shower screen the staff were as welcoming as usual many thanks to Arrielle for her thoughtful attention we ate in the restaurant my skirt steak was really tender and my wife enjoyed her pizza the hotel is central for Times Square and easy access for the subway coming from JFK jump on the skytrain and get the e train to station 50th st nearest to the hotel once again my favourite stay in New York.

Rooms are large with very good shower in the bathroom (shower over bath)View of Times Square from the room are great TV channel selection and cable very comprehensive if you into that thingCON:No free Wi-Fi - why in this day and age, hotels continue to think they should charge for this service (no problem, Starbucks and McDonalds just a block down have free Wi-Fi)As mentioned by others, two lifts to get to your room - no a big issue, but frustratingly slow when your cold and wet to get to your room.

My husband and I have just returned from a trip to NYC, we stayed 5 nights at Novotel and here is what we thought:Pros:- Great location, right on Times Square, if you want to stay in this area- Efficient service - Our room was pretty big for NYC- We didn't hear any noise from the street or the other rooms- I loved the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom that switches from transparent to opaque just by pressing a button .

9. Best features are its location, large rooms by NYC standards, great views (we were on the 23rd floor with a river view - impressive both by day and night), cleanliness and good bathroom, including both a bathtub and decent shower.
