1. Have just returned from a fantastic trip to New York, stayed at this hotel and had no complaints whatsoever, everyone was friendly and helpful, Room was good, plenty big enough, cleaned daily( if I was going to suggest anything , would ask for tea/ coffee making facilities ) huge thanks to Ryan (assistan front office manager) who was so kind and helped when we had difficulty with logging in to computer/ printing off boarding passes, very much appreciated, All in all you can't go wrong booking this hotel, location is fantastic,Our first trip to the 'Big Apple' , wonderful place, already thinking of next trip and would not hesitate to return to the Novotel, Times Square.

4. The security manager did visit us and advised he was submitting a report to their insurance company, but we as yet have heard nothing.

5. I told the front desk this was unacceptable but all they said was sorry and they'll speak to the manager.

After returning we called down and asked for a fan or room change and the other manager now on shift could not do it and said it was against policy and code to do so, he said we could unlock and open our windows and then later called back and said they were going to turn on the AC because he had been getting complaints from others about the temperatures in the rooms.

7. We got dressed to go out for dinner and on the way down I spoke to one of the managers named Ryan and he assured me that they do have AC and heat and that a lady requested a extra blanket for her room because it was so cold.

Dec 7thI stopped and spoke to a manager on the way out about the room temp and when we arrived back at the hotel I called down they later sent a maintenance man to look at the AC, he found the AC filter very dirty and also confirmed the AC for the building had not been on and that they can only provide AC or heat but not both at the same time.
