We stayed in 2 double rooms for my friends 40th birthday, the hotel was very central to all of the attractions of New York, the hotel was very clean and the restaurant had good food, the only down side were the men on reception, they were arrogant and very rude, which was a shame as they are the first people you meet when welcoming you on your arrival, but all of the other staff were a credit to the hotel.

Breakfast is a bit pricey (once you've added tax and gratuity) but extensive, with pancakes, waffle, bacon, egg, sausages, croissants, donuts, fresh fruit, etc. The Duane Reader drug store underneath the hotel do quite good food to takeway and, of course, there are plenty of other places to choose from too.
