6. For a one time fee of $65 (per person) you had unlimited access to snorkeling equiptment, kyacks, boogie boards, etc.We rented a private cabana on the water one day, which was nice, but pricey ($140).

ProsReally lovely venue and hotel, generously sized rooms with balconies, great food, friendly, kind, helpful staff-ConsThe rooms were actually reasonably priced, but as is with most higher end hotels, so many fees!($22/day for valet parking, not including tips, 23% room service gratuity plus $3.50 for delivery, $135 for a poolside cabana, etc., etc.)Even with the fees, our stay was great.

10. If you research the hotel, the Big Island and all the small details ( like extra charges ), then you won't be surprised by the extra fees.
