I parked at the hotel and did not take out my car for the 4 days because downtown Chicago is crazy and
parking
very limited and expensive, but I did not have to use my car, I walked everywhere.

Despite the cost of the room (which I believe should have been comped because of our ridiculous wait), we paid $50 for
parking
+ $18 for other fees (taxes?), I felt totally ripped off for the money I paid.

There was no offer to discount our room, refund our room, give us a complimentary breakfast, and they couldn't help pay with
parking
because it is a separate business that runs the
parking
garage.

When your car is damaged in the very overpriced
parking
garage attached to The Allerton Hotel, the garage manager will tell you that he will credit your hotel bill for two nights to compensate you for the damage.
