1. Also, the $25 cleaning fee for even using the refrigerator is an unnecessary inconvenience - we walked to our car to store leftover foods from great Chicago restaurantes.
"Contemporary European beauty in an awkward spot " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/27/2011 Vote
2. Typically if they have something available they know they won't book that night then they're happy to upgrade you for a small fee, however, they were so kind & didn't charge us at all.

3. Booked a room for two people but was given a single room, when I complained to the front desk I was told that I would need to pay an upgrade fee if I wanted one king bed or two beds.
"Great location, tiny rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/14/2012 Vote
4. The prices were at typical Streeteville levels, so presumably food costs plus the $50 per night parking fees makes up for the discounted room rates that are often available.
"Mediocre hotel in a great location, often for a reasonable price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2012 Vote
5. The topper was a $15/day minimum fee to use wifi--are they kidding in today's day and age.

6. Despite the cost of the room (which I believe should have been comped because of our ridiculous wait), we paid $50 for parking + $18 for other fees (taxes?), I felt totally ripped off for the money I paid.
"AVOID if using GROUPON " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
7. I would recommend the hotel make a few changes: Improve mattress quality; change the mini-bar fee to be on par with the rest of the (American hotel) world; provide a buffet daily 'regardless of occupancy' and include more variety in it; after all those changes are made, increase hotel prices by 20% and still work with discounters.

8. This hotel seems to do a lot of business with discount travel sites, which with its exorbitent breakfast, refrigerator fees & parking ($48/night) - I can understand why.

9. I suprised my wife with an anniversary trip to Chicago and wanted a hotel in a great location at a great price (419 with all taxes and fees for two nights).

10. My initial room was so small I had to go beg the front desk for a room with double beds, their only solution was upgrading me to a single bed suite with a pull out couch (which they charged me an additional 30/night fee for a 4 night stay) and told me to try again the next day to see if I could get into a double room.
