1. Paid valet parking for $50 per night & cabbed or bus but better then driving in Chicago.

2. Certainly there are a few things they could improve: room internet could be free (as it is in the lobby), valet parking could be cheaper (but even the self-park down the street is $36/day), they could re-open the Tip-Top Tap.

7. The Allerton has a superb location right on Michigan avenue in the heart of the Magnificent MIle, but beware if you have a car - both valet parking at the hotel and parking in nearby garages is extremely expensive.

10. Booked thru expedia got the bast rate for the area we needed, $48 for valet parking, walking distance from the John Hancock.
