1. Had never been to San Francisco, and booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor ratiings, the location, and the cost, which was the most reasonable I could find in the desired area.

2. Only reason for not scoring 5 stars is that it is not a 5 star hotel with all of the typical ammenities that a 5 star property carries, but there is no fault with this property at all.

3. Cable cars at your doorstep (North Beach restaurants are a reasonable downhill walk, nice cable car ride uphill 'home').

5. It's true that in the lobby there is a free wifi spot but I've got free wi-fi in room even in cheaper hotels and also Motels so by my point of you is a shame that in an hotel of this category the wi-fi in the room is not free and included in the room fare,this is the reason why I give an average rate instead of an excellent one.

6. Hotels in Nob Hill are very expensive and the Marriott was a little more reasonable, but with all the same benefits.

9. The main reason I am giving the hotel the highest rating is that once I explained I am a light sleeper and that is why I request a high floor in a quiet area, the front desk employee was sympathetic and did everything possible to accommodate me.
