1. Parking charges in general are very expensive so unless you intend to travel outside of San Francisco don't have a car,it's not need.

7. One tip if you are staying on the weekend, there is a parking garage two blocks from the hotel at the corner of Bush and Stockton that costs $10 overnight and $8 all day Sunday which is far less than the ridiculous $54 parking at the hotel.

9. The hotel parking is expensive, about $50 a night so we went down the street to Leavenworth (State Street garage, I think), and paid about $15 a day to park the car in their small garage.
