1. All together for the very few who have had a bad experience at Portofino please go back and try again something went wrong or you are very fussy then just stay home lolllll I would go back there even just to enjoy the resort.

3. Don't get me wrong, for the most part, the staff is great, but they cannot make up for the nickle and diming and for a place that advertising itself as a luxury resort -- you are NOT getting what you are paying for and paying for things hat you should NOT be paying for.

We finaly found our room over looking the garden swiming pool area after a very long walk from the lobby and we found ourselves going in the wrong direction several times before finaly finding it, it was spacious but had a tired musty look, we also found a dead bug in one corner, this was not removed until it was pointed out to them twice.

9. We also took the water taxi over to the Royal Pacifica and were glad that we didn't stay there, nothing wrong with it, we just loved the ambiance at the Portofino.
