1. I spend over a month a year in (superior) five star chains, I'm used to the snob factor, though can't stand it when the snob factor isn't met with delivery - be it the wrong name against the room, poor concierge service, in-room dining staff waiting around for a tip on top of a 20%+ service charge, or failing to act on pre-established requests until after I arrive.

3. Minuses, 1) unexpected wake up calls (the family loved this one), 2) very small twin beds if you have more than 1 bed per room, 3) poor transportation service directly from hotel.

4. I have never overheard so many guests complaining about so many things- poor service, noisy construction, poor communication, etc.

5. This hotel is not 'kid friendly' wonderful for adults on a convention, those facilities were grand but for a family this would be a poor choice.
