6. Upon arrival, the building itself looks quite dated, I was thinking this was another make shift 1980s FL property that was half updated, that you see so often in Orlando.

7. The recent $45 million renovation (completed in 2009) improved one of our few complaints with our last visit - the very dated tropical themed rooms have now been updated with a sleek, contemporary look.

9. Orlando's Hyatt Grand Cypress has been around for a long time so we were surprised at how up-to-date and inviting it is.

10. If you order pizza, they call you when its at the front date and you have to drive out there to get it which is kind of a pain, but apparently they had some security issues before so that is why that policy is in place now.
