1. Ambient noise just the background city hum (there is a large aircon plant on the north side though, avoid this).

2. As the noises from the hall were quite present as well, I was happy to have brought along some high-quality ear plugs (available at most airport and better than what you will receive on the plane.

3. My one gripe is that I stayed in an adjoining room and the door musn't be sound proof because I found the noise level to be ridiculous for a hotel of this caliber.

4. The hotel is right on top of MOCA and the Disney Concert Hall, which can have its drawbacks especially if a special event is booked (as it was when we were there, and the noise was deafening).
