1. So I could hear noise from reception, restaurant, bar, and elevator all day and all night.

2. The room basically had no noise insulation.

3. I have to agree with others that the walls were quite thin, especially if you have a room like I did with a locked 'adjoining' door - I could hear everything through it, and had to sleep with white noise.
"Overally, A good experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/20/2012 Vote
4. In response to earlier complaints in reviews here, in my experience, towels were always new/good quality/fluffy, and linens were sparkling; all bathroom amenities were replenished without needing request; and other than one stream of emergency vehicle sirens on one early evening, I did not hear ANY street noise nor did I hear noise from my hallway or adjacent rooms (and my hearing is fine).
"great location/service/price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/30/2012 Vote
5. However, sound carries in the hallway, so make sure you have a white noise app on your cellphone.
"Great location + decent hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/22/2012 Vote
6. Most hotel rooms faced inwardly towards lobby, so on the one hand, you don't get noise from street but you get the noise from the lobby.

7. In addition, the view was through a window clearly still smudged with the last (or sometime prior) occupants forehead, nose and finger prints, and was basically of the street, from which the noise of traffic came very audibly through the not so decent glass.
"Not up to Expectations/Westin Standard " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/28/2011 Vote
8. Also, in the early evenings and the weekend, there would be a lot of noise from the lobby and the restaurant.
"mixed feelings " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/4/2011 Vote
9. On the plus side, this means that you don't get any of the street noises at night.
"Great location, average accomodations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/26/2011 Vote
10. There is absolutely NO atmosphere in the hotel lobby, the front desk gave room keys that did not work twice, the TV picture in the room was fuzzy on most of the channels and you can hear all of the noise in the room next door.
"Just okay overall - not great location for a hotel on a weekend. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/12/2011 Vote
