If you are a loyal Starwood customer you will find this DC hotel vastly better than the experience at the DC Four Points, and not nearly as
expensive
as the W and St.

Parking is also
expensive
at many of the hotels so don`t forget to factor this in when you make your reservations.

Hotels in DC,in general, are
expensive
at any time of year so look around at the rates at other nearby hotels to see what they charge and if you can make a deal to get the best available rate.

and the only less
expensive
hotels with similar levels of quality beds/linens and on-site dining etc were at much greater distance and/or had awkward connections in moving about the city so you would likely end up spending the difference in cab fees and/or lengthy metro trips.

this was the least
expensive
room at comparable hotels in comparable locations: DC is an
expensive
hotel city and even 'moderate' chain hotels (ie Holiday Inn) are more
expensive
in DC than in other cities.

95 for internet access for 24 hours (you can buy a one-hour pass, too), but I thought this was super
expensive
.

Gift shop was
expensive
(as expected) with its $3 bottles of water and $10 small bags of jelly beans.

Parking is crazy
expensive
throughout the city, so I'm glad I didn't rent a car or anything like that, but something to be aware of if you drive to the hotel.
