1. However, the window can not be opened to let air in, so the room at times smells musty and humid (especially the bathroom).

2. Our room looked, smelled and felt super-clean (and it had none of those revolting and toxic artificial fragances many hotels use to attempt to 'freshen' up their rooms -- this was just genuinely clean).

4. They seem to overuse air freshener - probably due to the age of the building - but my room smelled really strong when I checked in and this smell was found throughout the hotel.

7. Also, the sheets smelled and the bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on the ground - which we would have done if the floor didn't have visible dirt stains.

8. Renovated rooms are nice, comfy beds, fresh smell (non-smoking establishment), new bathrooms a little tiny but equipped with modern shiny fittings and pleasant natural bath products.
