3. Have no idea about the non-renovated rooms, but ours was fantastic - organic toiletries, clean, plush bedding and furniture, ipod adapter alarm clock, flat screen tv, bath robes, safe, locking fridge all in the queen size remodeled room we were in.

4. The difference of the non-renovated/renovated rooms may explain the different reviews: half the hotel is the original style from the Hitchcock film Vertigo, the top half, however, has been remodeled.

7. When we arrived at the Vertigo hotel (with no storefront as they are still remodeling) we were notified that we had graciously been upgraded to a renovated queen room.

10. Our room was in the un-remodeled section of the place - it def reminded us of 'Vertigo' and signs of the grand remodeling are everywhere - however we didn't care - only needed a shower and a bed to rest for a few hours before heading into town.
