1. Oh and I had read reviews before hand that it was noisy, but we did not have that problem AT ALL.

4. I was here for business and would say this hotel is less suited for the business traveler based on a couple of areas: First my room was pretty noisy being close to a bus depot but also things like squeaky floorboards in the rooms above.

5. The rooms facing any of the three streets are going to be noisy with trams passing by or the bus yard opposite the Powell Street side so definitely ask for one of the courtyard facing rooms.

6. Although we visited in March it wan't cold so no heating necessary - I did turn the heater on (as I'm nosey) and it was very noisy, it went straight off.
