If you're driving, bear in mind that
parking
here is not only NOT FREE but also quite expensive taking into account that you're spending a full night at the hotel.

Parking
was underground and quite expensive (about $45/day) as was internet and the lobby cafe (2 bananas set me back over $5).

Parking
is outrageous but so is the rest of the city's paid
parking
spots, try enjoying your stay on foot and spend that extra money on local attractions or one of the seafood restaurants on the Wharf.

Parking
is expensive ($45+tax/valet or self park), but that seems to be the norm in San Francisco.

Cons: Lack of insulation between rooms, HIGH prices for stay AND for

Just checked into the Sheraton, I knew the rates for
parking
prior to booking but think its disgusting that public can get
parking
for the same price as a guest staying at the hotel.

I find there's little to improve: don't be surprised by the $45/day
parking
(it's pricey everywhere, you're in the big city), the walk-up food counter and cafe is too crowded requiring waits, I prefer an included breakfast.

Parking
is very expensive ($45), so if you are traveling for fun - ditch the weekly rental and rent from the hotel when you want to do a day trip.
